Studio Visits: Mary Robinson – Climate justice is a very people-centred approach to climate change, 2001

raising awareness

encountering others

On the occasion of the launch of her new book, ‘Climate Change: Hope, Resilience, and the Fight for a Sustainable Future’ (2018), Mary Robinson joined us at the studio to discuss the motivation behind her passionate campaign for climate justice. Robinson served as the first female President of Ireland as well as United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and she now fights to raise the voices of those most vulnerable to the consequences of climate change, particularly women in the Global South.
