A sequence of water fountains, each spouting in a different shape, are installed in a darkened space. Strobe lights placed immediately above each fountain illuminate the water droplets for an instant, producing the appearance of a static arrangement suspended in mid-air. Documented by film-maker Tomas Gislason at PinchukArtCenter, Kiev, in 2011.

In a darkened room, over a dozen water fountains burst forth from a raised plinth. Strobe lights placed directly above each fountain flash rapidly, illuminating the water droplets for brief seconds and producing the fleeting illusion of solid, static compositions suspended in mid-air. Each fountain spouts a jet of a different shape, size, trajectory, or intensity, so that the resulting compositions appear like split-second glass sculptures in a group exhibition.
