An arc of water is visible through a large glass sphere, which inverts the view so that the water appears to originate from above, shoot downwards, slow, and then ‘fall’ back up to its source. The optical qualities of the sphere also distort the focus of everything except what the viewer perceives to be directly in the sphere’s centre, stretching, bending, and blurring all elements that appear at the edges.
