This light-and-shadow installation is entirely dependent on visitors’ presence in the space. An empty screen is illuminated by eleven spotlights. When visitors enter the space and pass through the beams of light, overlapping silhouettes dance across the wall. The silhouettes shift in intensity and scale as visitors move around, passing closer to and further away from the lights. This simple but evocative effect results from the slightly offset spotlights and the coloured filters added to the lamps.
