This drawing is based on a concept that Eliasson produced with his father, Elias Hjörleifsson. Hjörleifsson, who was an artist as well as a sailor, created the drawings on the boat where he worked. These drawings were done onboard the Icelandic trawler Helga María Ak10. A pen was hung from the ceiling of the ship's dining area, touching paper, which absorbed the ink. The ship's movement made the drawing.
