Each of the four concentric rings of glass spheres comprising this work contains spheres of a single size. The spheres have a mirror finish on one half, covered by a layer of matt black paint. The spheres are turned at incremental angles to suggest a progression along the respective rings, in which the visibility of the reflective inner surface gradually waxes and wanes as the black outer coating shifts in orientation. The innumerable reflections within the spheres respond to viewers’ every movement.
