Eliasson’s lamp for Louis Poulsen is composed of two contrasting shapes: a rigid outer frame and a soft, layered interior, both derived from Platonic solids. Light directed towards the lamp’s core is reflected out onto the surroundings; the lamp’s complex geometric shape invites movement and sustained attention.
