Golden ratio pavilion is constructed according to the geometry of the golden spiral – a logarithmic spiral whose growth factor follows the golden section, a ratio that has fascinated mathematicians, architects, and artists for over two thousand years. Two sets of golden spirals, running in opposite directions, form the criss-crossing contours of two steel framework spheres. In the countryside where the work is installed, the steel globes appear like alien outgrowths partially submerged in a meadow.
