Two elliptical mirrors positioned at a precise angle in relation to a circular mirror unleash an array of embedded reflections, a ‘mirror tunnel’ in which viewers see fragments of their immediate surroundings and their own bodies from different angles. The tunnel frames the viewer from a surprising angle in the act of looking, giving them the opportunity to see themselves from without, as Other. They see themselves seeing. While my body is felt by me as being in the world – moving, seeing, interacting with it – it is also in the world as an object for others, constituted as a whole through their gazes.
