Originally installed at Tanya Bonakdar Gallery (formerly Bonakdar Jancou Gallery), New York, this work transformed a section of the gallery into an exterior space. Walls were built around the skylight from floor to ceiling; the glazing was removed, and the floor paved with concrete tiles. Inside this newly created space, the walls were lined from eye level upwards with mirrors that reflected the rooftops outside. The installation opened the gallery up to the sights and sounds of the city around it – including the weather.
