Your focus fade is an equilateral glass triangle that has been partially treated with mirror coating so that the viewer’s reflection, fully visible at the edges, seems to subtly fade to nothing at its centre. Paradoxically, the clear glass centre appears impenetrable and opaque, presenting only the blank surface of the white wall behind. To fully discover and co-produce the work, the viewer must move about the space to negotiate her own vanishing visage.
