A hexagonal kaleidoscope is designed so that audience can enter from one side. Once inside, the viewer can look through the opening in the tapered part of the kaleidoscope and see multiple reflections of the section of the room behind it. It is also possible to see in the opposite direction through the opening at the tapered end.
