Every Saturday night during late-summer 2012, the Tate Modern shut off the lights of its Surrealism wing and invited visitors to take part in Tate Blackouts, a collaboration between the Museum and Olafur Eliasson. Armed with Eliasson's Little Suns, their ticket into the event, visitors navigated the darkened galleries with their solar powered hand-held light.
