Suspended from the ceiling by a cable, a mirror disk rotates slowly in the room. The mirrors on each side of the disk are convex, causing the reflections of the room and everything in it to be bent and distorted. A triangular array of monofrequency lights sandwiched between the mirrors shines yellow light out on the surrounding space, saturating the gallery in a single hue and reducing viewers’ color perception to shades of yellow, grey, and black, similarly to Eliasson’s earlier work, Room for one colour (1997).
