The site-specific work, installed on the grounds of the Fundación NMAC in Cádiz, Spain, consists of ceramic quasi bricks stacked to form a gently curving wall. Facing south, the inner curve of the bricks is clad with mirrors set at various angles to reflect the sun and natural surroundings.

This is the first artwork to use the quasi brick, an adaptation of Einar Thorsteinn’s 15SSDO, a twelve-sided polyhedron, based on naturally occurring quasicrystals, that utilizes both four- and fivefold symmetry. Its combination of regular and irregular shapes lends an impression of controlled chaos to any structure made of stacked quasi bricks.
