Olafur Eliasson’s work for Bloomberg London comprises two large undulating mirrors of cast and milled aluminium that are animated by the movement of visitors and staff through the building. The first of these, installed at the peak of the foyer, augments the dynamic movement of the swirling space by reflecting fragmentary glimpses of the architecture and its users in its rippling surface. The second mirror, visible from the spiralling ramp leading to the upper floors of the building, suggests the top of the water surface visitors previously viewed from below when they entered the building.
