Recalling a wound-up spool, a cable is laid along the floor, walls, and ceiling of a small room. The cable visibly runs out of the window and to the lightning rod on the roof. If lightning should hit the lightning rod, the energy will be conducted into this room-sized spool, generating an electromagnetic field, which will then travel to earth. In a different version of the work, said cable is routed to a 1000 W-lamp.
