By the time I get to, 2003
By the time I get to is a large artist's book consisting of 30 silkscreened photographs, which Eliasson took on the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands.
'[Eliasson's] work, which values elements such as light, heat and wind in nature, leads us to the mysteries of this vocanic land through a sensorial and emotional reencounter with nature. An experience that the island reserves for anyone willing to watch it with open eyes.'
(Enrique Perez Parrilla, 'Introduction', in: Lanzarote Series: Olafur Eliasson, Barcelona 2003)
