Smooth pieces of driftwood that were scavenged from the coast of Iceland have been attached to a single pane of hand-blown, silvered glass. The pieces radiate out from the surface in a star formation that looks somehow geometrical but also organic. The mirror doubles the structure to create the illusion of a full star floating in space. Bubbles, ripples, and other irregularities testify to the handwork that went into producing the glass.
