The walls of this elliptical structure are backlit with the additive primary colors: red, green, and blue. When these fade from one to the next, the colours cyan, magenta, and yellow are produced. As the colour red fades to magenta, the viewers will, however, perceive for about 15 seconds a green hue overlaid on the magenta due to the afterimage effect.
