'The ice melting series takes a close-in view of something small: each piece of glacial ice is between four and ten inches long, but Eliasson skews the scale by zooming in on each piece, suggesting it is bigger than it really is. Here, the notion of natural transformation and dematerialization is self-evident, as the ice is captured in its state of change from solid to liquid.'
