In 2000, an 80 metre-long wall of compacted earth was installed at the Hamburger Bahnhof-Museum für Gegenwart in Berlin, Germany. The earth from behind the museum was excavated, leaving a hole that was an integral part of the work during the course of the exhibition. Afterwards, the hole was filled in again with the same earth.
