A view of ‘Seu corpo da obra’ (Your body of work), 2011, as installed at SESC Pompeia, São Paulo, Brazil, for Eliasson’s solo exhibition of the same name. Transparent sheets of coloured plastic – in either cyan, magenta, or yellow – are suspended from the ceiling to form a maze. Additional colours appear where these hues visually overlap, forming spontaneous compositions that continually change in response to viewers’ movement through the space. Seu corpo da obra was inspired by the work of Brazilian artist Hélio Oiticica (1937–1980).
