Constructed out of parallel steel spirals, all angled in one direction, and supported by ribs slanting in the opposite direction, Spiral tunnel conveys a powerful sense of motion to those who pass through it. Lava rocks carpet the ground beneath the tunnel, and a few larger rocks have been interspersed to encourage a more indirect route.
