Installed during the winter of 2000 in the courtyard of the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin, Heat pavilion drew visitors into its cosy shelter. The simple steel structure – consisting of a curved roof supported by three columns – conceals five heating elements that create an invisible, ephemeral space for unexpected encounters.
